"What is a Nurse?" Art Contest

More than 200 New Haven schoolchildren participated in the "What is a Nurse?" art contest sponsored by Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale University School of Nursing.

The Winners

Contest winners stopped by Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital for a special unveiling ceremony. Linda Pellico, Yale School of Nursing, and Yale-New Haven Sr. VP Sue Fitzsimons, joined the budding artists for photos: (l.-r.), Shamar Dabney; Frank Greene; and Nicole Carlson. Second place winner Verneata Dennis was unable to attend.
